DESCRIPTION
The cardigan is worked top-down using circular needles. The main feature of this pattern is given by the wings in the back. There’s a chart for a classic pair of wings, or you may choose a kind of tribal ones, as I did for my daughter. The charted patterns have the same width so you can easily imagine how your classic wings will look like in the back even if at the moment there’s no finished sweater based upon this choice. Ribbed panels, starting at the collar, follow the shoulder line and go down the sleeves to the cuff. They also give a nice finishing to the front edges. The sleeves are set in the pattern using the contiguous method. You may choose to wear this sweater as an open cardigan or sew a zipper to the fronts or join fronts using a mattress stitch as I did.
