Giverny Cowl is named after a well-known French village where the home and gardens of the master of Impressionism Claude Monet are located. He lived there for 43 years and cultivated the lush gardens that were the theme of countless paintings. The inspiration for this cowl came from the color of the yarn I used: blue with a subtle mixture of green, lilac, and red — shades that resemble his Water Lilies series of paintings.

The pattern features a cable design, including a chart and written instructions. The cast on and bind off are joined together seamlessly with grafting. The pattern includes 2 video tutorials showing all the steps to knit this cowl.

A Gola Giverny leva o nome do vilarejo francês célebre por abrigar a casa e os jardins do mestre do Impressionismo Claude Monet. Ali ele viveu por 43 anos e cultivou os jardins exuberantes que serviram de tema para inúmeras pinturas. A inspiração para esta gola surgiu a partir da cor do fio que usei — azul com mesclas suaves de verde, lilás e vermelho — tons que lembram a série de pinturas dos nenúfares presentes em seu Jardim das Águas.

A receita inclui o gráfico e as instruções em texto para as tranças. A montagem e o arremate são unidos de modo completamente invisível através da técnica do grafting. Acompanham 2 tutoriais em vídeos que explicam a receita passo a passo.
