These fingerless mitts were inspired by the leather gauntlets worn by G’Kar in Babylon 5. They are low across the hand, flare out around the forearm, and are finished off with a heavy I-cord detail. The gauntlets are knit in the round in a tight gauge to create a dense fabric. A crocheted ridge at the outside of the hand mimics a button flap.
