Glacier Socks
Inspired by winter in Iceland, the Glacier Socks feature a colorwork pattern drawn from iconic lopapeysa designs and yoke motifs.
The Glacier Socks are worked in the round, cuff-down. The design includes a gusset and short row heel turn. The colorwork pattern is charted.

Wild Violet Fibers Merino Sock (85% Superwash Merino Wool, 15% Nylon; 437 yds per 100 g skein).
MC: Volcanic Rock, 1 skein
CC: Geysir, 1 skein

Needles
US 1 / 2.25 mm needles, or size required to obtain gauge.
US 2 / 2.75 mm needles.
You can use DPNs, two circular needles, or one long circular needle, whichever is your favorite method of knitting small circumference projects in the round.

Gauge
34 sts and 46 rows = 4 in / 10 cm over stockinette stitch using US 1 / 2.25 mm needles, blocked.
32 sts and 36 rows = 4 in / 10 cm over colorwork pattern using US 2 / 2.75 mm needles, blocked.
Size & Finished Measurements
XS (S, M, L, XL)
Knitted sock circumference:
7 (7.5, 8, 8.5, 9) in / 17.75 (19, 20.25, 21.5, 22.75) cm
Will stretch to fit foot circumference:
7.5 (8, 8.5, 9, 9.5) in / 19 (20.25, 21.5, 22.75, 24) cm
