Difficulty: Advance

Yarn:
Color 1 / c1 Ivory 100% Baby alpaca. 100 gm, 420 yards

Color 2 / c2 camel / gold 100% alpaca. 100 gm, 420 yards

Color 3 / c3 dark brown alpaca, silk and wool. 100 gm, 440 yards

Needles: US #3, US #4

Construction: This opulent half pi shawl is knitted from the middle of the neck and outwards. US # 4 used for body and lace patterns of the shawl. US # 3 used for the brioche patterns.

This half pi shawl has 5 sections:

Section 1: Stockinette in c1
Section 2: Two color rococo brioche in c1 and c2
Section 3: Lace leaves in c2
Section 4: Two color syncopated mandala brioche in c1, c2, and c3
Section 5: Final lace border/edging in c3

NOTE: Knitting the shawl in alpaca from section 1 to 4 makes the shawl very light. In the final section 5 for the best lace stitch definition choosing yarn with some wool fiber in it is recommended.
