This hat pattern is a companion pattern to the Glass Ripples Shawl. Intended to be worked in any weight yarn and good for hand-painted or variegated colorways.

Size: (xs/sm/med/lg)
To fit Circumference: 18”/20”/22”/24” (46cm/51cm/56cm/61cm)
Height (crown to base of ear) 6”/7.5”/8.5”/9.5” (15.25cm/19cm/21.75cm/24.25cm)

Gauge:
Stockinette, knit in the round. Instructions are given for each 4sts/5sts/6sts/7sts per 1” (2.5cm); depending on yarn weight and needle size used. If your gauge is in between, go with the smaller gauge, the pattern stretches.

Materials:
Yarn: your choice of yarn in any weight; estimate yardage as follows:
fingering 120 - 180yds (110 - 164.5m)
sport 110 - 170yds (100.5 - 155.5m)
worsted/aran 80 - 120yds (74 - 110m)
bulky 60 - 100yds (55 - 92m)

Notions: Double pointed or circular needles for preferred method for knitting in the round in size required to obtain gauge.
