Glass Ripple Mitts
This mitt pattern is a companion pattern to the Glass Ripples Shawl. Intended to be worked in any weight yarn and good for hand-painted or variegated colorways.
Materials:
Yarn: your choice of yarn in any weight; estimate yardage as follows:
fingering 120 - 180yds (110 - 164.5m)
sport 130 - 170yds (119 - 156m)
worsted/aran 100 - 130yds (91.5 - 119m)
bulky 80 - 100yds (73.25 - 91.5m)
Notions: Double pointed or circular needles for preferred method for knitting in the round in size required to obtain gauge; stitch markers; darning needle
Sizes: xs/sm/med/lg
Palm circumference: 6”/7”/8”/9” 15.5cm/18cm/20.5cm/23cm
Gauge:
Stockinette, knit in the round. Instructions are given for each 4sts/5sts/6sts/7sts per 1” (2.5cm); depending on yarn weight and needle size used. If your gauge is in between, go with the smaller gauge, the pattern stretches.
