Glass Shards Cowl
This little cowl is knit entirely in the round to form a layered tube, whose ends are grafted together using kitchener stitch. The glass shard motif uses the stranded colorwork technique, and both a chart and written instructions are included. There are two adult sizes to choose from.

29 sts and 32 rnds = 4” / 10 cm
NEEDLES
Needle size is a suggestion. Please use the needle size that achieves gauge for you.
Two sets of Size US 3 / 3.25 mm circular knitting needles, 16 – 20” / 40 - 50 cm long each
Size US G or H / 4.50 or 5.00 mm crochet hook for provisional cast-on
YARN
Any fingering and/or sport weight yarn that achieves gauge. Select yarn colors with high contrast.
Sample uses Cosy Posy Yarn Co. Feather (fingering weight, single ply; 90% merino, 10% linen) 393 yards / 360 meters per 100-gram skein

NOTIONS
One unique BOR marker and 11 (13) markers to separate chart reps; smooth fingering or sport weight scrap yarn in contrasting color for provisional cast-on; and yarn needle for kitchener stitch and weaving in ends
