The Glen Arbor Storm Scarf is inspired by the storm that surprised Glen Arbor, Michigan on August 4, 2015. The scarf is reversible with columns of lace, like the wind twisting the trees, an eyelet cable that evokes the waves, and seed stitch edges, like the rain pounding the sand.
Two hanks of Shepherd’s Wool, the softest merino, in pewter from Stonehedge Fiber Mill create the perfect length for this beautiful scarf.
The scarf is 8 inches wide by 70 inches long, ideal for up north winters. I had 42 cable crossings at this length.
