Glencoe Lace Wrap
Glencoe Lace is a knitted lace pattern inspired by the rolling hills of the Scottish Highlands and is depicted in a graphic nature. The pattern is written specifically for laceweight yarn in two sizes depending on the available yardage.
Finished sizes: 15” x 72” small, blocked - 1000 yards
23” x 89” large, blocked – 1500 yards
Details
Yarn: Lace weight, 1000 (1500) yards
Model: Deep Dyed Yarns, Lunabudknits, Mare Laceweight 80% Merino Wool 20% Tussah Silk, 500 yard (457 meters), 50 grams. Colorway: Young Grasshopper. Used 3 hanks and US# 3
Needle size: US. #3 or #4, 32” circular
Gauge 6.5 sts = 1 inch on U.S. #3 in pattern. Any yarn weight can be used, adjust pattern in increments of 28 stitches to achieve desired width, adjusting needle size to get a desired fabric.
Row counter (optional, but highly recommended).
Stitch markers (highly recommended for pattern repeats)
