Glenfyne is a close-fitting collar-style cowl. Knitted from the top down in the round, Glenfyne features spiral ribbing, cabled texture to trap the warmth, and relaxing stocking stitch to give softness and drape.

Once upon a Wool Gathering, the collected people helped design some yarn, and the Eva was born. With Polwarth wool grown at Tarndie and Suri alpaca grown by the mill, the Eva is a deliciously rustic neighbourhood yarn. Entirely grown and processed in Victoria, Australia, and spun by Great Ocean Road Woollen Mills, Eva has the bounce of Polwarth, the silkiness of Suri alpaca, and a halo to bring a smile to any fibre enthusiast’s face. The Glenfyne cowl is designed to play with all these qualities.

With both charted and written instructions, Glenfyne is a quick, easy knit. The pattern has been professionally tech. edited and test knitted.

4mm/US 6 circular needles – 40cm/16” in length
or size needed to match tension
Cable needle (if desired)
Embroidery needle
3 stitch markers (one distinctive for start of round)
Blocking wires & pins (optional)

Tension blocked, worked in the round in stocking stitch:
22 stitches and 34 rounds = 10cm/4”
Your gauge will affect the size of the finished cowl, as well as the amount of yarn you will use.
