The Glint Sweater is a drop-shoulder style sweater. Both the body and sleeves are knitted in the round, starting from the bottom ribbed hem. The armholes and neckline are created using the steek technique. The sleeves are knit separately and then sewn onto the body. The neckline is finished with a folded edge after picking up stitches post-steek.
When working with multiple colors, ensure the contrast color (CC) stands out. Hold the main color (MC) in your right hand and the contrast color in your left hand so that the contrast color runs beneath the main color. When there are more than 5 stitches of the main color between color changes, catch the contrast color in the middle to prevent it from becoming too loose.
After finishing a section of colorwork, cut the yarn and weave in the ends. However, if you are continuing with the same color in the next round, carry the yarn up the inside of the work. Take care to avoid puckering the fabric.
It is recommended to use a circular needle longer than 100 cm for the body section. A short cable can cause the fabric to pucker easily during horizontal colorwork.
