ABOUT THIS DESIGN
Knit from the bottom up, this ultra soft and cozy undergarment is perfect for fall and winter layering. The front and back cable motifs add interest to a quick and simple design full of increases and decreases of all kinds. Green Mountain Spinnery’s Cotton Comfort yarn lends itself well to this design with its soft and springy nature. Made of soft cotton and fine wool fibers blended on carders for a woolen prep, the yarn is spun on worsted spinning machines, creating a lofty and light - yet, sturdy and stable - 2 ply DK weight yarn.

GAUGE
20 stitches and 24 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch, after blocking

NEEDLES
Size A (for Ribbing) two sizes smaller than Size B, 24”, 32’, or 40” circular needle
Suggested Size: 3.50mm (US 4)
Size B (for Main Fabric) to obtain gauge, 24”, 32’, or 40” circular needle
Suggested Size: 4.00mm (US 6)

CONSTRUCTION NOTES

• To choose your best size, measure your rib cage beneath your bust. On the body, the 1x1 rib fabric stretches to about 14sts per 4”. Look to the instructions below and divide your estimated size’s number of sts to CO by 3.5 (examples: 100 / 3.5 = 28.6; 112 / 3.5 = 32; etc). This calculates the estimated measure of the finished ribcage of your garment. Choose the size with the closest ribcage measure.
• It is recommended you try on your garment as it is made to test the fitting of 1. the bottom hem 2. each cup and 3. each strap. I-cord straps can be knit to fit.
• I prefer to mark the beginning of round (BOR) with a Progress Keeper instead of a Stitch Marker because they don’t often slip and fall.
