Autumn and winter around here are full of grey and rainy days. They say that a splash of colour can brighten up the gloomiest of days…

My 5 y.o. daughter needed a new cowl for the winter, and she had fallen in love with some pretty rainbow coloured yarns I had recently added to my stash. So I went ahead and designed a cowl for her. I decided to go with a wavy pattern to show off the colour changing yarn.

She did not like the fit of the first one – said it’s loose around her neck. Well, it does fit me perfectly! She loved the design, though, and said I just had to make her a smaller one, which – of course - I did. So here we go – a cowl in two sizes… adult and child… and easily adjustable to any size you want it to be (and of course to your preferred yarn weight).
