Gloria is a cuddly little hedgehog friend, dressed in a pink apron. This snuggly toy is knitted in a fleecy bouclé yarn to make them extra cuddly.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the hedgehog is knitted in DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). The apron is knitted in 4 ply yarn, and the apron straps are single crochet chains worked on a crochet hook. This pattern uses intarsia colour-work for the hedgehog’s tummy.

NEEDLES
A pair each of 3mm and 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 2.5 and 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Snuggly Bunny DK (double knitting/light worsted weight) for the hedgehog’s fluffy body, Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK 100% acrylic for the face, hands and feet, plus Stylecraft Special 4 ply 100% acrylic for the apron.
