Glorious Cabled Mitts
The ribbing on these cabled mitts gives them a comfortable fit for a range of sizes, while the cables provide elegant shaping and style. The original thumb gusset design lends them a unique look, while having the gusset set on the palm affords a more natural fit.
Knitting these up with the lighter sock yarn and smaller needles creates a fine, soft fabric that is a joy to wear.
This should fit a woman’s small to medium hand. Use a larger needle for a larger size
Note: This pattern was written for the magic loop or two circular needle techniques for knitting in the round!
A million thanks go out to MsLindz for being the best test knitter and tech editor a girl could have, and to my knit group, Creatures of Habits, for being such huge nags that I eventually did get off my butt and write this pattern :)
