I created this decoration inspired by Ukranian traditional embroidery motifs.

It is made in overlay mosaic crochet technique.

The pattern includes written instructions and charts that can be printed or viewed on an iPad.

For my sample I used medium yarn #4 (Red Hearts Super Saver) and the hook 5 mm. The size of the finished piece is 22” x 18”. I used about 220 yards of blur color yarn and about 300 yards of yellow color yarn.
