Glossy scarf is worked sideways and completed by continuously increasing and decreasing from a single edge, the stitch pattern is C4B cable. This is an harmonious accessory that can be knitted in different lengths, have different looks and uses, it can be suitable for any season and place.

Technically, it consists of three parts and the lengths of the parts can be adjusted at will. It does not require any sewing process or subsequent addition. I-cord edges are added while knitting the scarf. It’s also compatible with all kinds of yarns.

This scarf pattern is a great stashbusting project. You can use your leftover yarns or your special skeins and have a scarf that is very precious to you.

When designing this scarf, I had a few specific things in mind: I wanted to be able to knit it both big enough that I could lay it on my shoulder and small enough that I could tie it around my neck or hair. Also, when I was knitting this, I always had cool sea winds, waves and soft sands in my mind. The beaches that get cold and empty in late summer have become my inspiration and a photo that we took when I went on a vacation with my friend between my exams many years ago had a big part in this. You can also see this photo in the pattern.

The yarns and needle sizes mentioned on the ravelry page are just examples.
