This squid is anatomically correct, and it glows in the dark! For the most part, this pattern is made seamlessly, so you’ll only have one end to sew in after finishing the body and tentacles (the stabilising fins are the only part that is sewn on separately).

The glow-in-the-dark effect was achieved using Lion Brand DIY Glow, but could be replicated with any glow-in-the-dark yarn. The pattern uses 2 yarns held together to achieve the glowing effect. The pattern also works with regular yarn if you prefer not to have the glowing effect, and you can make the pattern using any single yarn, or combination of yarns by adjusting your hook size.

This pattern is suitable for a confident beginner, with colour photos provided throughout the pattern for additional support.
