GLOWFLY pullover

Designed originally for FLYFLY shawl this authentic three-dimensional fabric features exaggerated slip-stitch patterning. When combining one solid and one graduating colors, the produced effect immediately inspired me to place it into a yoked pullover, seamlessly incorporating the shaping directly into motif repeats. The volume on the yoke is carefully balanced within the sweater canvas, while the knitter becomes the conductor for its final look. Versions for 3 types of trim as well as 3 sleeve lengths are included to make the one that you will love wearing best!

This pullover pattern was designed in collaboration with Do Ewe Knit yarn from Spincycle yarns and mYak yarn company for annual New Jersey Wool Walk!

This pullover is worked top down in the round, with short rows incorporated before and after the Slip Stitch section of the yoke.

Written and charted instructions are provided for the Slip Stitch section. You can choose to follow the pattern according to your preference.

Choose between 3 types of finishes for neckline, hem, and cuffs: Rev St st, Turned Up hems, 1x1 rib. Options for 3 various sleeve lengths are included as well.

21 sts and 34 rows = 4” / 10 cm in St st worked on middle size (US 4) needle, measured once dry after washing and blocking
