I am always excited when a new baby is welcomed into the world. This usually gets me going on a new baby tangent, but this time with a little glow! This yarn has been popping up all over the place and I just had to make something with it. I wanted there to be very low contrast so the glow would blend in until the lights turn off. It could also be super helpful when you’re a new mom fumbling around in the dark trying to find blankies after a midnight diaper change or feeding!

Supplies:

• 700 yds main color worsted weight yarn (Lion Brand Feels Like Butta in Rainy Day, 4 balls)
• 71 yds contrast color worsted weight yarn (Lion Brand DIY Glow in Natural, 1 ball)
• Small amount of accent color worsted weight yarn (Lion Brand Heartland in Kobuk Valley)
• I (5.5 mm) Furls Alpha hook
• J (6.0 mm) Furls Galaxy Swirl hook (for border)

Gauge:

14.5 rows x 14 rows = 4” x 4” in lemon peel st. the main body of the blanket.
