The ♥♥ Blissful Moments ♥♥ shawl can be worked in any yarn weight, but will look best in a solid-colored, semi-solid or long color repeat yarn. “Bustling” yarns might drown out the pattern.

The total yarn amount needed depends on the yardage of the chosen yarn and the desired shawl length. Work either a one-piece shawl or a two-piece shawl grafted in Kitchener stitch or three-needle-BO. Pattern is charted with detailed explanations.

Shawl #1 (green)
Rowan wool cotton 4 ply (180 m/50 gms [197 yds/1.75 oz]) – total used: 150 gms [5.25 oz]
Knitting needles 4.5 mm [US 7]

Shawl #2 (lilac)
“Glanzpunkt“ by Atelier Zitron (approx. 300 m/100 g) [328 yds/3.5 oz] – total used: 150 gms [5.25 oz]

Techniques used:
Working from charts, casting on, knit, purl, yarn over, k2tog, ktbl , skp, s-k2tog-psso, 3 from 3 [k3tog-yo-k3tog] (explained) , blocking lace.
For one-piece shawl option: binding off
For two-piece shawl option: Kitchener grafting or three-needle-BO.

Für diesen Schal empfehle ich ein einfarbiges, ein semi-solid Garn oder ein Garn mit sehr langem Farbverlauf, da das Muster sonst „untergeht“.
Der Schal kann prinzipiell mit jedem Garn gestrickt werden. Die benötigte Garnmenge variiert je nach Lauflänge des Garns und nach der gewünschten Länge des Schals. Ich habe drei Schals mit unterschiedlichen Garnen gestrickt.
