The yarns I used were vintage yarns from my stash and may not have been a true worsted weight so the size is approximate.

For my beards, I used Moda Dea Eden yarn though you can use almost any novelty type yarn you might have in your stash. Any type of eyelash yarn would work well for this.

The height of the gnomes can be adjusted by adding more rows to the body, or even by adding more stitches to the rounds if you’d like a gnome who is a bit “fluffier” (because fluffier is a friendlier word than fatter).

Finished size of my gnome is approximately 8-9” (20-22cm) high.
