Gnaw the Little Mouse
All my patterns use US terminology.**
Gnaw the Little Mouse is a quick and fun project when you want to make a small toy using your scrap yarn and what you have in hands.
Materials you need:
3.5 mm (E/4) hook.
Yarn: small amounts of fingering weight yarn in grey and small quantity of pink yarn for the tail and the nose.
Two beads for the eyes. These are optional since you can embroider them.
Tapestry and sewing needles.
Cotton wool for the stuffing.
(I usually fill my amigurumis with cotton wool, little scraps of yarn, old t-shirt and fabric cut in little pieces and avoid using synthetic stuffing as a green choice. I want them to be 100% biodegradable and spread only love, not pollution).
This little mouse measures approximately 10 cm from the point of the nose to the beginning of the tail when made with the above materials.
If you’d like to use other weight yarns be sure to match the hooks size and consider the measurements will vary accordingly.
I’ve used some yarn of my stash for this pattern.
Please consider to do the same or buy some sustainable wool.
