Note
This sweater begins as a top down design. Once the piece is ready to be divided for the sleeves, the front and back are then worked separately to allow for the two-color Intarsia pattern on the back. After the front and back are both finished, the sweater’s side seams are sewn together and then the sleeves are picked up and worked in the round. If using hand dyed yarn for this design, it is recommended to alternate between two balls at once to create a fabric with even color distribution.

Note
トップダウンで編むセーター. 袖を分けるまで編んだら, 後ろ身頃と前身頃を別々に分け, 後ろ身頃は2色を使ってインターシアの技法で編む. 両身頃を編み終わった後, 脇を綴じはぎし, 袖目を拾い, 袖を輪で編む. 手染め糸を使う場合, 編地の色を均等に保つため, 糸玉を二つ用い, 毎段交互にストライプを編むように編むことをお勧めする.
