Gnome Fingerless Gloves
Hi! This is a full PDF tutorial on how to knit gnome fingerless gloves. The download comes with complete pattern (written and charted) and many many individual pictures to help explain the process.
This pattern assumes you know:
1) How to knit, purl, and K2tog, and Knit in the round (or double pointed, or magic loop--your choice)
2) How to do colorwork. A basic understanding is necessary. You should have completed one project using at least two colors of yarn at at time.
You also get my e-mail and my phone number when you buy to text me with any problems or questions you might have!
This pattern is made for a size 6-7.5 inch wrist. Instructions for sizing down and up are given. The model (me!) has a size 6 inch wrist.
Row 2: (K4 K1 K1tbl) until end (72 stitches)
…could read that as: K5, Knit 1 through the back loop.
So another way to read row 2: (K4, Kfb) until end (72 stitches). Thanks to the person who messaged me with this!
You will need one skein of Knit picks Palette in your base color (I used black)--231 yards, and 100 yards in each gnome color, so 100 red, 100 skin color of your choice, 100 beard, 100 shirt, and 100 brown. You will have some left over. This will allow you to make two of any size fingerless gloves. Any fingering weight yarn can be used. I used cotton.
Two things:
1) You own your finished product. You can sale it, gift it, or do whatever you want with whatever you make from this pattern. I don’t care! You made it, you deserve to do what you want with it.
2) You cannot give this pattern to anyone who has not bought it, or use any of my pictures. You’ll have to take your own of what you’ve made.
