Crochet pattern - Christmas gnome with glitter ball
With this crochet pattern you can make the adorable Christmas Gnome with glitter balls, which has a very special hat with holly leaves. This tutorial is also suitable for beginners, because only basic crochet skills are needed and many photos make it easy to rework.
The instructions are divided into the following parts:

  • Materials needed
  • Techniques used (magic ring, slip stitch, chain stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, front and back post single crochet, reverse single crochet, increase, decrease, color change)
  • Explanation of all abbreviations used
  • Description of all individual parts of the gnome to be crocheted (body, arms, beard, nose, hat, glitter balls, holly leaves)
  • Detailed description of how to sew the individual parts together.

The instructions include numerous photos that explain step by step how you can crochet the gnome.

When crocheted with the specified wool (wool thickness), the gnome is about 15 cm high. The body has a diameter of about 9 cm and measured from hand to hand about again 15 cm.

Materials:

  • Crochet hook 2,5 mm
  • scissors
  • cardboard
  • polyfill
  • needle
  • Fairy wool (used for needle felting)

Wool:
It is written quite precisely for which parts which wool is used. Any wool with a) 125 m, 50 g, 100% acrylic and b) 175 m, 50 g, 100% acrylic is suitable. Equally important is also a glitter yarn, about 1 mm thick and a glitter yarn that is crocheted along (25 g, 390 m).
