Gnome Mason Jar Sleeves
These cute little gnomes can brighten up any counter or desk! Fill them with candy or other goodies and you have a great gift for teachers, co-workers or anyone!
They would also be great for craft fairs. A cute way to use up the empty mason jars you have lying around. Plus they don’t take much yarn and are easy, inexpensive, and fairly quick to make.
I used 8 oz and 12 oz (Regular Mouth) Ball mason jars for mine. Any jar that measures 2.5” - 3” in diameter would work and the height is easily adjusted.
The beards are made by using regular yarn first, then going back over with the fur yarn so that you can see each stitch you’re working into (much easier than trying to crochet with fur yarn on it’s own).
An addendum was added on Feb. 24, 2023 to include instructions for a top hat & arms.
Materials needed:
Mason jars measuring 2.5” - 3” in diameter.

Fur Yarn for the beard.

Tapestry Needle
Stitch Marker & Scissors
Hot Glue is optional for securing the sleeve to the jar
