Gnome Set
This 24 page pattern includes tons of photos as well as instructions on how to crochet a gnome, Santa, and Wizard!
This would be considered an intermediate skill level pattern. It is made entirely by single crochet, but you must have a clear understanding of single crochet increase/decrease as well as color work/tapestry crochet!
Materials:
You will need a 3.50 mm crochet hook, a 2.00 mm crochet hook, yarn, stitch markers, tapestry needle, scissors, and poly-fill for stuffing. Optionally you may need safety eyes, felt, and embroidery thread!
Let’s Talk Yarn!
You will be using #4 worsted weight yarn for this project. Use any brand or color you desire! Colors are totally up to you! This is a very customizable project. For a gnome/Santa, you may want a white beard! Making a wizard, you may want a gray beard. The entire project will require less than 150 yards of #4 worsted weight yarn. I used a combination of Red Heart Super Saver, Hobby Lobby’s I LOVE THIS YARN, Mainstay Basic Yarn, Gazzal Rock n Roll yarn.
Final Measurement:
Your finished gnome will measure 10 inches tall. Your finished gnome will measure 7 inches from arm to arm!
Gauge:
9 sc stitches by 9 rows = 2 inches
Abbreviations:
-Ch: chain
-Sl st: slip stitch
-Sc: single crochet
