This is a crocheted bonnet style hat for baby and toddler size. A simple design for an advanced beginner, uses the puff stitch and alpine stitch to give the hat a nice texture.

Pattern uses a 5mm hook and medium/worsted/4 weight yarn. You will need about 130 to 190 yards.

Pictured is Lion Brand Wool Ease in forest green heather for toddler size, Lion Brand Heartland in Badlands for baby 12 month size, and Patons Classic Worsted in Natural for baby 3-6 months.
The sizes do run big, which is nice so that the hat can grow with its wearer.
