These little garden Gnomes are quick knitting projects: use them to decorate your garden or window box. Both are worked predominantly in stockinette with garter stitch beards, and the smaller gnome has a knitted bobble nose. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the gnomes are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle and toy filling.

SIZES
One size only - The large gnome is 15cm tall and the little gnome 11cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
