For that time when your kid wants cabled (over the) knee high socks with an elastic band in a yarn that will obscure the cables and is also not too thick/not too thin - and gets a super sized scarf instead.

Textured and/or hand painted yarns give the ribbed scarf a little more interest.

You can adjust the length to your liking. Each 70 yard skein yielded approximately 21” of fabric.

If you want to make it wider, add stitches in multiples of 6. The pattern is a multiple of 6 plus 3.
