Design description: This simple-but-elegant shawl is a garment you will repeatedly reach for in your closet. The shawl is knitted in stockinet stitch and has a graceful flounce that flows from the bottom of the shawl.

Construction: This shawl is worked top-down and it begins with cast-on stitches at the neck. Subtle increases are worked at the top edges and center-back (no yarn-over holes down the center back or along the top edges of the shawl). The graceful flounce at the bottom of the shawl is worked seamlessly as a continuation of the shawl. Pattern includes links to video-tutorials for special techniques.
