Go with the Flow
This textured blanket is worked all in one, using carefully placed eyelets and decreases to make a rippling pattern. The unisex designs makes it a good baby shower gift and instructions are given for six sizes:
46x46 (53x58, 60x69) (67x69, 74x81, 82x92) cm
18x18 (21x22.5, 24x27) (26.5x27, 29x31.5, 32x36)“
You will need double knit yarn:
150 (200, 300) (300, 400, 500) grams
420 (560, 840) (840, 1120, 1400) metres
459 (612, 918) (918, 1224, 1530) yards
You will also need 4mm needles, or a 4mm circular needle for the larger sizes.
Techniques include knitting and purling through the backs of stitches, yarn overs, ssk and k2tog decreases. The pattern includes a chart as well as written instructions, so you can work from whichever version you prefer.
