Goat kid
- No sew crochet pattern.
- PDF file, which contains 19 pages of instructional material accompanied by 79 photos and 3 video.
- Difficulty level: DIFFICULT.
- Crocheting skills will be needed to make this pattern: magic ring, slip stitch, chain, single crochet, increasing, decreasing, picot, half double, double and treable crochet. The pattern doesn’t contain crochet lessons.
- TIME to make one goat is approximately 5-6 hours, wreath and butterfly ≈ 2,5 hours.
MATERIALS and TOOLS:
- Milk (17 g), brown (12 g), dark-brown (3 g), light-green (10 g), yellow (1 g), white and pink yarns (weight 2: Fine, Sport; 55% cotton + 45% acrylic);
- pair of black safety eyes, d = 10 mm (or embroider the closed eyes);
- thin black thread for embroidering;
- crochet hook (I used 2 mm crochet hook);
- scissors;
- embroidery needle;
- fiberfill (I used hollow fiber).
If you want to crochet a butterfly that magnetized to the nose, you’ll need the following materials:
- round neodymium magnet 83 mm;
- iron/steel wire for needlework, d = 0,3 mm, 16 cm;
- paper tape for wrapping the ends of the wire.
