Gobi Cardigan
The Gobi Cardigan is part of the Tibetan Euphony collection designed by Valentina Cosciani for mYak.
A comfy, oversized shrug created from a large rectangle. The entire shrug is worked in a lace stitch, and then the rectangle is folded and sewn to create the sleeves. The borders and sleeves are picked up and knit in garter stitch.
Finished Measurement:
Width (from wrist to wrist): 108 (119, 130)cm - 42 1/2 946 3/4, 51 1/4)“
Length: 75 (83.5, 92)cm - 29 1/2(33, 36 1/4)”
Sleeve circumference (measured below elbow): 30 (34.5, 39) cm - 12 (13 1/2, 15 1/2)“
Yarn:
8 (9, 10) skeins in mYak Baby Yak Medium. Sample knit in Canyon colorway.
Suggested Needles:
4 mm - US 6 with an 80 cm - 32” cable;
3 mm - US 2 1/2 with a 100 cm - 40” cable for border (or DPNs, if preferred, for sleeves).

Tapestry needle and scissors
Pins and a tape measure for blocking
Gauge:
18 stitches & 26 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
