3 Basic crochet stitches are used. The pattern is in a chart form. There are two charts included, both can be enlarged on your computer, one is a color chart with squares, row by row, the other is a stitch chart that shows the stitches row by row.

I usually use Aunt Lydia’s 1000 yard balls of size 10 thread, but any brand of size 10 thread will work just fine.

I use a size 7 steel crochet hook.
