God’s Promise Shawl was designed as a reminder that God will guide us through every storm.

“I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth.” (Genesis 9: 13 NIV)

This shawl uses a 7 skein mini set paired with a main color. While I did use rainbow colors this shawl would look great in any color combinations.

The sample was knit up using Arkansas Yarn CO yarn. You will not use all the yarn of the main color or the mini skeins. You will use a little over half of the main color. Gauge isn’t super important but just know that if you choose to use a different needle size that will affect the yardage and size of your shawl.

What you need
Main Color: 220 yards/52 grams fingering weight
7 Mini Skeins: 28 yards/7 grams fingering weight each of the 7 colors.
Size 7 (4.50mm) knitting needles
Tapestry Needle
Scissors
