Goin' Berry Pickin'
Inspired by the adventure of pickin’ berries in the wilds along country roads-- yet with versatile enough that they can be a classy evening wear ensemble for winter outings. The gravel and dusty roads are represented by the seed stitch and garter stitch borders, the wandering around the berry bushes are the cables, and the juicy ripe berries are the bobbles.
Although the set is designed to be made on straight needles, there are notes included to convert this to knitting in the round where possible. Photos are included to assist in the construction. Suggestions on how to increase or decrease the sizes are also included.
Set of patterns includes fingerless mitts, a neck-warmer/cowl, scarf, headband and hat.
Model, Neko Hogarth demonstrates ideas of how to wear different combinations of these items to suit yourself or as gifts you knit for others.
