Going Bananas Monkey Lovey pattern is for intermediate crocheters.

US terms used

Some assembly of pieces required. Arms and ears are worked in as you crochet.
Monkey section is worked in continuous rounds/spirals of single crochet. The blanket is mostly worked in joined rounds. Will need to know how to do single crochet, half double crochet, double, double crochet, slip stitch, increases and decreases.

Gauge is not important. Finished size if made using yarn and hook suggested will give a lovey that’s approx. 41cm across.

3mm and 3.5mm hook
Carnival 8ply yarns in the following colours:
MC (Main colour) – Brown
CC1 (Contrast colour) – Light Brown
CC2 – Yellow
CC3 – Light yellow
Eyes can be embroidered with yarn or use 8mm safety eyes.
