Going Stag
Going Stag is a men’s raglan pullover with a deep neckline, generous button-up shawl collar and underarm gussets for a loose fit through the shoulders. The sweater is worked in 4 x 2 ribbing with a 16-stitch Staghorn cable on the front and 4-stitch cables on the back, sleeves and along the neckline. The body is worked bottom up, in-the-round to the neck opening, then side-to-side through the neckline to the underarms. The sleeves are worked bottom up, in-the round, then joined to the body. The sweater is then worked side-to-side through the neckline and yoke shaping. A cable edging is worked across the shoulders, then stitches are picked up along the neckline for the shawl collar. The collar is worked in 2 x 2 ribbing with short row shaping and buttonholes.
