Gold Flapper Sheath Dress
I love the flapper style, and have been hankering to write a dress pattern in this style for a while, and so here is the first one! This pattern is actually quite easy, so I would call it appropriate for an advanced beginner/intermediate crocheter. There is no shaping, no increasing, no decreasing, and no seaming. I love ease of construction!
Here are the measurements for the piece shown:
Length from top of bodice to bottom: 37”
circumference of bodice: 33”
full length of straps: 11”
width of straps: 1 3/4”
This dress is meant to be loose fitting, and the pattern would be super easy to alter, simply chain more for the foundation ch.
Important! Revision to original pattern:
Row Eleven should read as follows:
R11: sl st in next sc, ch1, sc in same st, ch3, 7 dc in middle chain of next ch3 sp, ch 3, sc in middle sc of next 3 sc group rep * to * to end, join w sl st to 1st sc.
