This hat was designed for the Gold Ribbon Craft promo project. More info can be found in this thread. For use in the Gold Ribbon Craft promo project please use GOLD or YELLOW yarn.

I used green yarn because it’s what I had and wanted to get it done! Green is for organ donation awareness so that works for us too!

This pattern is currently untested. I wanted to get this up ASAP so those who wish can get started on it right away. I will update when it is finished testing.

If you know the knit and purl stitches, know how to cast on and want to learn how to knit in the round and do a simple cable you can make this hat. I had requests for a simpler hat to knit than the other childhood cancer awareness hats offered and this is what I came up with. It only has one ribbon cable and is much easier to knit then the one I designed in my September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month Hat. The instructions are wordy but, trust me, it is much easier. I am planning on doing a video tutorial to prove it.
