Golden Apple
Te Āporo Kōura / Golden Apple is cast on around the neck, then worked down with German Short Rows for shaping and with increases to the Leaf Lace pattern. Increases continue in the lace pattern and once completed, further increases and stockinette are worked. The sleeves are separated from the body and the body is worked down straight with the fleck pattern to a simple eyelet pattern before the simple rib hem. The sleeves are placed back on the needles and a small sleeve worked before a simple rib and binding off. The neckband is picked up and a simple rib neckband completes the garment.
