This pattern has a twisted ribbing for added interest. The cable pattern is fairly simple, only 4 stitch front and 4 stitch back cables. The sleeves are set in for a flattering fit. There is no waist shaping but the cable and rib pattern will form a bit to your shape. The sleeve increases are worked in the rib pattern for ease of knitting. Several techniques are explained in detail. There is a chart for the cable pattern and a schematic for the sweater dimensions. Any worsted weight yarn will work. The gauge over the chart pattern is 25 sts and 28 rows to 4”.
