This design uses techniques inspired by the enchanted period of days gone by. The Golden Empress dress was designed with a shimmering sleeveless bodice, which has been embellished with a bamboo silk cabbage rose, ribbon and leaves that sparkle with hand sewn crystal beads giving the bodice added interest and dimension. The champagne bridal satin underskirt was overlaid with three tiers of crochet lace and detailed using brilliant glass crystal beads that will sparkle with movement. Your special little girl will feel like royalty in the generous bell style skirt, satin sash and cheerful little shoe-clips or frilly anklets. You can adorn her dress and her tresses with matching cabbage rose corsage pins and hair combs. And of course no outfit is complete without a coordinated purse. She will love being able to carry her small treasures and other little-girl-essentials in the satin and crochet lace overlay purse.

The Golden Empress dress is made with soft lightweight yarn and stitched in a lace by using open crochet work and thousands of pearl-like picots, which allows the dress fluid movement. The dress is trimmed out in tiny bamboo silk loops along the neckline and sleeves and the skirt is highlighted by three rings of shell stitching and crystal glass beads that sweep around.

• The last two photos were sent to us by one of our customers, Ashley Graham. She chose to make her dress in all white, using crochet thread. She embellished the Bodice with pearls and repeated the lace to make the 3/4 sleeves.
