Golden Hexagon Blanket
The Golden Hexagon Blanket is the perfect sized challenge for beginner crocheters. You’l love mastering the simple puff stitch, and be surprised at how quickly these hexies work up with the chunky yarn. Use one main color, with 3 contasting colors for the centres or multiple border colours like I did.
Gauge is not too important unless you want the exact final measurements as mine.
Exact yarn and shades are listed below and in the pattern pdf. Any chunky/bulky/heavy weight yarn will work well.
For a smaller, baby blanket, use 10 ply/Aran/Medium weight yarn and a 5mm hook, following the same yardage amounts.
There are video tutorials on my instagram @littlegoldennook for the joining method. Tap the play icon in the center of my profile and scroll down to my Hexie videos.
Enjoy!
