Golden Retriever Scarf
Although it may look tricky, the scarf is actually not that difficult to knit. The only difficult technique is making the head. You start with two needles, then cast on stitches either side and from then on continue to knit in the round with 5 needles (4 needles to hold the stitches, the 5th is your working needle).
Yarn
Use yarn to fit size 4.0 needles. You will need 200g beige and some black as well as brown. The colours can be changed to match your dog’s colouring.
You will also need a pair of eyes (I used 18mm) as well as toy stuffing.
Instructions
I have used tables for instructions throughout. The first column in each table is the row or round number. The second column explains any notes and of course the technique used in this row / round (knit or purl). The third column contains your instructions. The fourth column shows the number of stitches per row / round.
