Strickweise:
Die Golden Spiral Socks werden von oben nach unten gestrickt. Nachdem das Bündchen der Socken gestrickt wird, verläuft über die Socke ein Lace-Muster, welches sich auf der Rückseite bis zur Hacke und auf der Vorderseite bis zur Fußspitze erstreckt. Das Lace-Muster ist in dieser Anleitung als Strickschrift enthalten. Außerdem ist detailliert beschrieben, wie die Hacke und die Spitze gestrickt werden.
Bitte beachte: Die Anleitung ist für die Magic-Loop-Methode geschrieben.

Hintergrund/Inspiration:
Die Golden Spiral Socks sind, wie es der Name vielleicht schon verrät, vom Goldenen Schnitt inspiriert.
Insbesondere ist das Spiral-Lace-Muster von der Goldenen Spirale inspiriert. In der Anleitung sind detailliertere Informationen zum Goldenen Schnitt und zur Goldenen Spirale enthalten.
Die Spiralen auf der rechten und linken Socke zusammen ergeben einen großen Schmetterling.

1 Rundstricknadel 2,5 mm (80 cm oder länger), alternativ 2,5 mm Nadelspiel, Wollnadel, Maschenmarkierer

Maschenprobe:
30 Maschen x 40 Reihen = 10 x 10 cm (glatt rechts)

Garn:
maximal 100 g Sockengarn (4-fädig)
zum Beispiel: Malabrigo Sock (100 g, ~402 m)
oder Lang Yarns Jawoll (50 g, ~210 m)
sowie optional eine weitere Farbe für Bündchen, Hacke und Spitze

The Golden Spiral Socks are knitted cuff down. After the cuff you begin knitting the lace pattern of the socks. On the back of the sock the lace pattern is knit until the heel and on the front of the sock the lace pattern is knitted until the toes. The pattern contains the lace pattern as charts. Also there are detailed explanations for the heel and the toes.

Inspiration:
The Golden Spiral Socks are inspired by the Golden Ratio and more precisely by the Golden Spiral, which is pictured in the Spiral lace pattern in the middle of the socks. In the pattern you can find a more detailed explanation of the Golden Ratio and Golden Spiral.
With the right and left sock together the two spirals form a butterfly.
