’Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair, so that I may climb the golden stair’. I always thought Rapunzel was a bit of a wimp, personally. But I envied her hair. That long, gorgeous, golden hair. The braid pattern featured in this sock makes me think of Rapunzel’s braid, tossed out the window, waiting for someone to rescue her.

These socks are knit from the toe-up, and feature a hybrid heel. The pattern can be knit two at a time if desired, but instructions are only given for knitting one sock at a time.
